Black Mondo Grass is actually a member of the lily family, but is resembles a purple black broadleaf grass and is used to carpet areas or as a dark container accent. Evergreen and deer proof, it provides contrast to lighter colored foliage. Plants grow 8-10" tall, and spread by stolons.
