Hardy Ferns

Polystichum polyblepharum

The glossy evergreen foliage of Tassel Fern always catches your eye when you pass by. It's common name comes from the shape of the new croziers erupting in spring. Once established ,it forms outward spreading, vase-shaped clumps of shiny fronds, growing up to 24” tall and 24” wide.It would prefer a humus rich soil with even moisture. Very nice addition to shady foundation plantings.
