Pollinator Friendly

Calamintha nepeta 'Montrose White'

It has been a few years since we've carried 'Montrose White' Calamint, but a customer asked for it, so now we have it. It is a great plant...easy to grow in zones 5-7 (we've been told it doesn't like southern heat) and for us, it performs from late June until frost with airy white lipped flowers, that take on a pale blue tint in cool weather. To my eyes it is identical to the form we have always grown...Calamintha nepeta ssp nepetoides.....I've never found seedlings of it anywhere in the 20+ years we've grown it. Height 15-18" x width 15-18". b'loved by pollinators and butterflies and deer resistant.
