It's love all over again for this shade tolerant spreader. Commonly called Strawberry Begonia, 'Maroon Beauty' is a selection of creeping Saxifraga with burgundy wine markings on it's rounded dark olive foliage, and wispy white petals, some etched with purple, on 12" wiry stems. Foliage stays under 3-4". Winters over in zone 6 in garden areas that have good drainage. We love to tuck it in containers..it sends out dainty blooms in spring and has interesting trailing foliage all summer.
