This is a female clone with small catkins in late winter.S. purpurea 'Pendula responds well to pruning and can be trained to a single leader to create a distinct hardy specimen for gardens or containers. If left unpruned plants can reach 8-15' tall and 15' wide. Very adaptable to soil types and can adapt to drought conditions. Shipping trade gallons (5 pint pots)
