Symphytum 'Axminster Gold'

Limited Supply. Russian Comfrey. Here is a bold focal point perennial for sun or part shade forming 18" tall rosettes of gold edged elliptical foliage topped with 4-5' stems bearing nodding pink to lavender bells in early summer. It does prefer a soil that retains moisture, and can be cut back after flowering to encourage a fresh flush of handsome foliage. Be aware that some folks are skin sensitive to this plant.<
